Sofia Snow and Reason P both performed at the HipHop event, DJ Reel Drama kept the dancers moving, and for the art lovers in the room; Acoma’s Paris Street Art Gallery featured great art painting. The dancers owned the night though.

Bboys and Bgirls did flips, while rockers and all stylers moved graciously to the music. Snap Boogie a contestant on America’s Got Talent even made an appearance.

The Boston community owes Mayan Tamang the credit for creating this celebration of HipHop. The entrepreneur will take a break from throwing events, and will focus on dancing, doing martial arts, co-running Kulturez-his shop, and raising a baby boy who will enter this world in September.

I really think that Rebirth of the Final Chapter succeeded in bringing together the Boston hip hop community and creating networks for people in other communities. For example, the co-owner of Comic Media USA-Craig Ronan- and I, the other owner made good friends at the event. Ronan never attended a universal street dance event before so I am glad that he had the exposure.

“What’s peace? Absence of violence is not peace,” the Buddhist leader said. “Peace is something positive. Genuine, lasting peace is true, inner peace. You have to take care of others. Peace will not come from the sky. Peace must come through our actions.”

In meditation on this subject, I came to a similar conclusion.

How can we affect the world in a positive way? Through thoughts? Actions?
Our behavior -> physical, mental and emotional behavior reflects. When you wave and smile the other reciprocates the action.
When you speak ill it also reflects like a wave of action moving through the ocean of society. Let us be conscious of our actions and thoughts towards ourselves and others.
Let us positively affect the world. It starts with Love.
The Real Revolution is Love.

Hello from sunny AZ. I left the snow behind for a nice family trip to Arizona in Feb 2013. My first day in and we took to hiking through the Sonoran Desert Mountains. It was about 72 degrees and clear blue sky.

You can eat the fruit on this cactus. I heard it’s pretty good.
